SoloEtte - Travel and Practice Guitar

"Perhaps the greatest invention for the serious student or concert artist since the nylon string! " (Stanley Alexandrowicz)

Practice, practice, practice... or, as another old adage goes "To learn to play well is to learn to practice well!" Developing good practice habits is one of the most essential skills an aspiring musician needs to develop. In our busy modern lives however, this can be a complicated task. Whether at home (with family members bustling about), or in one of our busy colleges or conservatories, searching for a congenially quiet 'practice space' can often be a daunting challenge.

Enter SoloEtte. The SoloEtte travel and practice guitar is a near "small miracle" to say at least! Weighing only about 3 pounds and fitting into a small travel case about the size of a tennis racket, the SoloEtte lets one practice anytime and nearly anywhere - without disturbing anyone! Moreover, when using a set of closed air headphones, they (the outside world) more importantly don't disturb you either.

Employing detachable 'arms' when fully assembled, the SoloEtte really feels like a proper classical guitar. The body depth is simulated with an angled arm, hence the SoloEtte fits against the players anatomy in exactly the same way a normal guitar does. Composed of 'centerpiece' high quality wooden body (housing the electronics and headphone jack), the tuners are placed at bridge end to reduce overall length. The neck is finely wrought, and is easy to play and tactiley pleasing.

The Sound: Usually when I practice on the SoloEtte I do so without headphones. The mere convenience, plus the fact that I can hear every note, makes it a most efficient tool. Sometimes however, in a noisier environment (on a train, in the car, etc.), I use the headphones for added sound support. I have also, on occasion, performed in public on the SoloEtte (a summer concert on the beach, and a 'new-music' performance with electronics, etc., proved the SoloEtte highly effective).

Addtionally, my students LOVE and are fascinated by the SoloEtte! Without worrying about either travel or weather damage that could easily affect a traditional guitar, my SoloEtte has assisted me in thousands of lessons all over the globe.

For the serious musician practice is a must, and for the serious guitarist, the SoloEtte is a 'must-have' asset all aspiring players should utilize!
