ABOUT THE WONDERFUL ARCHIVAL QUALITY GICLEE PRINITNG
INKS & MEDIA THAT WE USE.
We also use 100% "Archival
Media" & "Acid-Free" Paper & Canvas media.
These are very expensive and should only be used on the most
important and
expensive work.
We use 100% UV safe
"Archival" pigmented inks that have been laboratory
tested to withstand direct sunlight.
I am very suspicious
about manufacturers' advertising and sales "hype",
but the paper, canvas, & ink manufacturers claim the
UV "Archival" pigmented inks & papers should be able
to last 200 years.
I usually suggest to
our customers that they should either frame their print
behind special UV resistant glass or Acrylic or spray their
artwork with a special formula UV clear coating.
