One is usually superior to some others in some physical and/or mental abilities. Those with superior physical abilities often rely on their muscles, those with superior mental abilities on their brains.
Women are less muscular and more prone to make peace because they evolved mainly as gatherers during the stone age. Men are more prone to physical fights because they evolved mainly as hunters. Gathering lends itself to talking whereas hunting demands silence. This is why women are better in language and prefer to fight with words where men usually fail.
The gatherer mentality lends itself to peace easier than the hunter mentality. Farming is a form of gathering, and its invention has had a major effect in moderating the brute hunters into men that created the concept of civility and justice.
To become truly civilized and just, we must completely outgrow our hunter mentality, both men and women. Like everything else, humanity is a matter of relativity. The more we act like animals, the less human we are. The less of human we choose to be, the more of human rights we give up deliberately.
