THE AMERICAN POLITICIAN

Summary: we undermine ourselves by electing the lesser of the two evils.

The public has the right to elect the politicians, the Big Money has the right to buy them. After all, the politician's motto is this: help me get elected, and I'll help you screw everyone else!

The American government consists of two parts. Its so-called democracy (rule by the majority), the smaller part, consists of the congress and the president who are controlled by the big money, and occasionally by the majority!

Its bureaucracy (rule by the bureaucrats), the larger part, consists of numerous departments and offices who rule the nation sometimes according to the law, but often not. Because, the law allows them to get away with how they rule!

The American politicians have a tradition of inserting loopholes in the laws they write. The loopholes serve them, serve the Big Money that buys them, serve the bureaucrats, and serve the news media that sells the loophole stories. The public pays for all of them, and loses at the end!

Republicans and democrats use anything to knock each other out. For example the republicans picked on Clinton's penis because they could not find anything else about him to pick on. By the way, this proves that Clinton has been the greatest president in the American history.

Being desperate to get votes, the republicans attacked the IRS for extracting undo money from the innocent citizens. Not that IRS was worse than any other administrative agency, and not that the politicians didn't know that the abuse of power by all agencies was generations old, but only because they didn't have anything else as attractive to the voting public. Then, to resolve the problem, they created a board to oversee the IRS. However, the board members represent the Big Money, and would help the Big Money off the hook. The ordinary citizen would still be a sitting dock.

Political Ads

Advertisement means giving information about a product or an issue. Propaganda means giving misleading, distorted, or deceptive information.
What we Americans call political or commercial advertisement are in fact propaganda. Aren't they?

As for myself, I was born in Stalin's Russia, educated in Shah's Iran, and have lived most of my life in USA. I know that the governments around the world are different from one another, I also know that they all have one thing in common: dishonesty! Then think, is a dishonest or fraudulent government a legitimate government?
