Not all quilts have to be show quilts.  Some are to be used.  These are quick four patch quilts, just squares, quilted in squares, to be put in an open pillowcase, then a plastic bag that is vented.  This means some holes or open top for the quilt to breath, but still able to be clean.  Placed in the car in case of an emergency to help keep warm.  They are made with flannel backing, heavy poly fill, and multi colored corduroy squares.  Soft warm and easy to care for they make great car quilts.

These are cheater blocks, one dolphin, one whale, both backed by a beautiful fish design.
These lap quilts were because my daughter wanted dolphins.  This came in four pictures per panel, but only 2 dolphins with 2 whales per panel, so with 2 panels that left the 4 whale blocks she didn't want.  Well, it is a nice used lap quilt for me this year!  Don't like wasting blocks and it is blue.
