This is a way to use up 7 different blocks, as well as the same block as used here.  It makes for a nice other shape when you need something other than a square.  This also shows you can use many fabrics for your quilts.  This uses left over satins, sateen, nylon and metallic material.  As far as I am concerned anything goes!

This quilt uses some blocks found in my Aunt’s house.  She used knit, velvet, and mixed cotton cloth to do these.  Figuring that maybe a 9 patch was on her mind these could have been left over from quilts she finished, or was just starting.  The others were just one of different blocks so I put them together and call it Aunt Mabel.
